Mateo Reyes
Intellectual property and commercial litigation
Mateo Reyes is a litigation associate. He works with Daniel Glickman on trademark and copyright disputes and on licensing, and with Richard Bloomfield on commercial cases.
He clerked for two years for a United States District Judge in the Central District of California, where he drafted opinions on motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and preliminary injunctions. He then spent two years at a New York litigation boutique. There he took depositions, argued discovery motions, and second-chaired a trial.
Mateo writes the briefs and builds the record. Ask him about procedure, deadlines, and what a federal judge will want to see before granting relief.
He grew up in Los Angeles and is the first lawyer in his family.
