Priya Raman

Priya Raman handles the firm's estate planning and private client work. She drafts wills and trusts, plans the transfer of wealth and of family businesses, and prepares powers of attorney and health care proxies. She also guides executors and trustees through estate administration in Surrogate's Court.

When an estate is contested, she works the matter with Richard Bloomfield: will contests, fiduciary claims, and contested accountings. She drafts with that experience in mind, so a plan holds up if someone challenges it.

Priya spent two years in the trusts and estates group of a midsize New York firm before joining BRG. She grew up in Edison, New Jersey, the first lawyer in her family, and advises families on both sides of the Hudson.
